Permissions
To integrate SonarCloud with Scytale, the following permissions are required:
- System Administrator
- Browse on selected project(s)
Step 1: How to create an API Token in SonarCloud
1) In SonarCloud, go to 'My Account' and then 'Security'.
Under 'Generate Token', enter a unique token name to help you easily identify the specific token you generated.
2) Next, select 'Generate Token' and copy the API token to your clipboard.
Step 2: How to Connect Scytale and SonarCloud
1) In Scytale, go to 'Integrations'.
2) Search for SonarCloud in the search bar and select 'Connect'.
3) Fill in the name of your organization.
Note: Enter your organization's name exactly as it appears in SonarCloud.
In SonarCloud, go to 'My Account' and then 'Organizations'.
You will see the name of your organization name under 'Organizations'.
4) Paste the API Token from SonarCloud. Learn How to create an API Token in SonarCloud.
5) Add a connection name - this will be used to differentiate between your connections - and then select 'Connect'.
6) Select the project or projects from the dropdown that you want to fetch information from.
7) Select 'Confirm'.
8) You have now successfully connected to SonarCloud!
