👥 Invite Your Teammates

Who should be invited to the account?

Invite team members involved in audit preparation or compliance processes to join the Scytale platform.

These members may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Human Resources Manager

  • Information Security Team Lead (Technical)

  • Engineering and Development Manager

  • Head of IT (CISO, CTO, etc.)

  • DevOps Team Lead

  • Product Architect

  • Compliance Lead

How to invite a new member?

You have two options—choose your preferred method:

Option 1: Through Settings

  1. Click on 'Settings' in the bottom-left corner.
  2. Select 'User Management'.

3. Click on the icon in the top-right corner.

4. Enter the user’s email address.

5. Select the user role based on the descriptions below

  • Team Member: Individuals who carry out tasks and activities within the project.
  • Admin: Business owners with full control over project management and settings.
  • Auditor: Professionals who conduct audits, reviewing all evidence and ensuring the project adheres to required framework standards.
  • PT Tester: Specialists who test for vulnerabilities to improve security.

Option 2: While Assigning an Owner

Each item in the platform has an assigned owner (e.g., a policy document, a control in an audit, or a critical system in an access review).

If you’re assigning an owner and can’t find the appropriate person, you can invite a new user directly from the list. Scroll to the bottom and select 'Invite a new member'.

The invite window will open. Fill in the details as outlined in the User Management section above.

Q&A:

1. I cannot see the User Management screen?

It's available only for Admin users. Contact the admin of the system to invite users.

2. I got an error, what do I do?

Check if the email address is already registered in Scytale. You cannot add a user twice.
