AWS IAM - Not Connecting
If you're experiencing issues connecting AWS IAM, one common reason is that there are no users or groups set up in your IAM account
🔍 Why This Happens
The IAM integration relies on retrieving user or group data from your AWS account.
If no IAM users or groups exist, the platform has nothing to collect—causing the integration to fail.
✅ What You Need to Do
🔎 What to Check
-
Sign in to the AWS Management Console
-
Navigate to the IAM service
-
In the sidebar, click on “Users”
-
Check if any IAM users are listed
If the list is empty, the integration will not work—as there is no data to retrieve.
🛠️ How to Fix It
Create at least one IAM user or group in your AWS account.
Once that's done, return to the platform and try reconnecting the IAM integration.
