      GitHub Dependabot - No Data Showing for Critical/High Issues

      This guide helps you confirm whether your monitor is working as expected

      🔍 Why This Happens

      The monitor Vulnerability Management | Critical/High Issues Resolved in the Source Code only returns data if there are open alerts marked as critical or high severity.

      If no such alerts exist, the monitor will appear empty.

      This is expected behavior—not an error.

       

      ✅ What You Need to Do

      1. Go to your GitHub repository

      2. Navigate to Security > Dependabot alerts

      3. Check that there are open alerts

      4. Filter by Critical or High severity

      5. If no alerts appear, continue with the steps below

      If There Are No Alerts at All:

      1. Go to Settings > Security & analysis

      2. Make sure both of the following are enabled:

        • Dependabot alerts

        • Dependabot security updates
