There are two common reasons the BambooHR integration may fail to connect:

1. API access is unavailable on the free tier – Only paid BambooHR plans support API functionality.

2. Incorrect domain format – Users may enter the full domain instead of just the required subdomain.

✅ What You Need to Do

🔐 Step 1: Confirm You’re on a Paid Plan

• Make sure your BambooHR account includes API access, which is only available on paid tiers.

• If you're on the free plan, you will not be able to generate an API key and complete the integration.

🌐 Step 2: Enter the Subdomain Only

When connecting the integration:

• Do not enter the full domain (e.g., yourcompany.bamboohr.com)

• Instead, enter only the subdomain (e.g., yourcompany)
