Azure KMS - Not Connecting
Here’s how to check if missing keys are preventing the connection
🔍 Why This Happens
The Azure KMS integration requires at least one key to exist in the Key Vault.
If there are no keys configured, the integration will fail—because Scytale uses key data to validate the connection.
✅ What You Need to Do
-
Sign in to the Azure Portal
-
Navigate to your Key Vault (Azure KMS)
-
In the left-hand sidebar, click on “Keys”
-
Check if any keys are listed
-
If no keys appear, this is the reason the connection isn’t working
-
📌 Next Step
To complete the connection, create at least one key in your Key Vault.
Once added, return to the platform and try reconnecting Azure KMS.
